OpenMandriva Lx 4.2 Argon released
The OpenMandriva community has announced the availability of OpenMandriva Lx 4.2 with the code name Argon. OpenMandriva is a direct descendent of Mandriva Linux, and it is the first GNU/Linux distribution to use the LLVM toolchain since 2015.
The main highlights of OpenMandriva Lx 4.2 are as follows.
- With the improved OM Welcome app, OpenMandriva makes it easy to configure most of the applications with a single click. This makes the OpenMandriva experience even better.
- Linux Kernel 5.10.14 (5.11-rc7 is also available)
- VLC 3.0.12.1
- Falkon browser 3.1
- SimpleScreenRecorder 0.4.3
- Qt 5.15.2
- KDE Frameworks 5.78
- Plasma Desktop 5.20.5

- LibreOffice 7.1.0
- Completed port to aarch64 (64-bit ARM processors)
